As a press photographer in London for fifteen years, I've been lucky enough to attend some huge events and photograph people of global interest, this blog is a chance to share my experiences.

Chelsea Flower Show is the opening of the Summer season for me, whilst it’s technically in Spring it is the beginning of sunny outdoor jobs, except this year it was un-typically wet and overcast. It’s an early start because you want to find your feet and shoot any interesting displays before any potential star attendance. It’s fair to say I was half asleep as I arrived but miraculously noticed a little bustle towards the rear of a garden. On my approach it became clear Prince Harry was taking a look at his charities’ Sentebale garden. A little burst of adrenaline set me into action and I was fortunate to shadow his informal tour unchallenged picking off a few moments. This pic really demonstrates his warm personality as he engages an exhibitor.
